What to Take

In order for you to have the best stay at the Ariau Amazon Towers we've put up together some suggestions that you may consider to enjoy your adventure the maximum you can.

CLOTHING:

• Light and comfortable closes such as shorts, t-shorts, Bermudas, etc
• Hiking boots, snickers and sleepers
• Cap and sun block
  

SHOTS:
Yellow fever shot is recommended. Please consult your physician.
Regarding mosquito, the area where Ariau is located usually does not have mosquito since the waters of the Negro River have such high acidity that allow them to reproduce, but if you'd like to take extra precaution you may take your bug repellent.

Aditional Information

PICK UP AND DROP OFF (TRANSFERS):
When making the reservation or as early as possible, please make sure that you provide the information of the flight or hotel where you want us to pick you up to take you to Ariau. If you do not give us this information you'll have to provide your own transfer to the pier of the Tropical Hotel Manaus, which is the place from where Ariau's boat leaves to the resort.

• If you have requested us (at your reservation) to be picked up at the airport, an Ariau's representative will be outside the baggage claim from which you'll come out at the Airport. He will have a sign with Ariau's name and also a sign with your name or the name of a person traveling within your party.
• If you've requested to be picked up at a Hotel and your package starts at 03:00p.m., please be at the lobby of the hotel 45 minutes before (if you are at the Tropical Hotel, you'll need to be at the lobby 15 minutes before 03:00p.m.).
• If you've requested to be picked up at a Hotel and your package starts at 08:00a.m., please be at the lobby of the hotel 45 minutes before it (if you are at the Tropical Hotel, you'll need to be at the lobby 15 minutes before 08:00a.m.).
  

OPTIONAL TOURS:
At Ariau's front desk you may ask about our optional tours such as overnight in the jungle, Indian rituals, Anavilhanas Archipelago (the largest fresh water archipelego in the world) and peacock bass fishing.// Please, feel free also to ask your Rainforest guides any questions regarding the fauna and flora of the Amazon.

• Ariau Amazon Towers makes everything possible to make your journey unforgettable and to provide you with all the comfort possible, however you may remember that you will be in the middle of the Rainforest, an extremely remote place where several things are limited.
• Please, follow all safety measures outlined by Araiu's staff, especially during excursions. It is prohibited for all guests, to touch, play with or feed the any of the animals that wander freely around Ariau. The animals although used to the tourists may have unpredictable reactions and Ariau will not be responsible for any person that chooses to not follow these instructions.
